Dr. Sachit Shah has been a medical doctor for over 30 years and is the Medical Director for Amari Medical Clinic.
After moving from England in 1990 he continued to provide medical care for over 5 years in Port Hardy. During his time in Port Hardy his medical skills were tested to their maximum as this remote location often did not have the facilities for medical care that is available in the Lower Mainland.
He is qualified in Medical Acupuncture, Palliative Care, and Pain Management. He worked at the Thorson Pain Clinic when he finally moved to Vancouver in 1995.
He set up a medical practice in Surrey B.C. in 1996 in response to a need in the community where he continues to provide medical care. Dr. Shah performs minor operations and practices in the cosmetic clinic where he provides a range of procedures.

Dr Loverock graduated with his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Cardiff University, United Kingdom. In addition during his studies he received a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Cardiff University.
Dr Loverock has trained and worked in Wales, England and New Zealand since 2007. Since obtaining his membership to the Royal College Of General Practioners in 2015, he has practicing within a busy metropolitan Surgery in Newport, Wales which has twice been distinguished with ‘Welsh GP surgery of the year’ since joining them.
He has recently moved to British Columbia with his young family and is looking forward to helping the community especially in the areas of Mental Health, Child Health and Complex Care medicine.

Dr. Lamis Samaan received her Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery degree from the Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt.
Following her move to Canada, Dr. Samaan was fortunate to be able to work within a University affiliated Family Medicine Centre in British Columbia for the last 3 years during her UBC Family practice residency training.
Dr. Samaan is a licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada and College of Family Physician of BC. She has volunteered at both the Vancouver General Hospital, assisting and providing support to in-patients, as well as at the Richmond Hospital within the Medical Imaging Department.
Dr. Samaan is looking forward to help the community especially newborns, young adults and complex care patient

Dr. Yasmin Garcia trained in the Philippines before moving to Vancouver in 2004, where she completed Family Medicine residency at St. Paul’s hospital. She worked as a full service family doctor in the Kootenays for two years and moved back to Vancouver in 2013. She divides her time between a maternity practice in Vancouver, her family practice at Amari and her two teenagers.

Dr. Bahargul Abdulmajid Atanur graduated from Shanghai Medical University and worked as a Pulmonologist until she immigrated to Canada fourteen years ago. After moving, she obtained a bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Calgary and worked as a Registered Nurse for five years and a Clinical Assistant for two years in Calgary, Alberta.
Dr. Atanur completed the Family Medicine residency program at the University of British Columbia. She is a Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.
Outside of work, Dr. Atanur enjoys walking, running, playing with her kids, and cooking with her family and friends. She speaks English, Uyghur and Uzbek.
Dr. Atanur is looking forward to helping the community.
