Telehealth is a way for doctors to communicate with their patients online where they can see them and talk to them in private chats. What does this mean? This means that you can see your doctor online now instead of coming into the office especially during this difficult time with the rise of COVID 19 and self isolation measures that are being taken in British Columbia.
As always we are regarded as an essential service and therefore we must be available to see all our patients in person as well.
However we have instituted a policy that only a limited number of patients will be allowed to be in the office at a given time and one or 2 doctors will be available to see you if you need to be seen in person .
IN THE MEANTIME we are very excited to be using telehealth or ONLINE video consultations with our patients so that you can continue to be monitored with your health.
THE DOCTORS normal schedule will be followed but you can wait for them online using doxy.me.
IF THE DOCTOR DECIDES that you need to be seen in person then they will ask you to come in specifically.
IN THE MEANTIME YOU CAN GO THE SPECIFIC WEBSITE FOR EACH DOCTOR AND SEE IF THEY ARE ONLINE AND WHAT THE WAITING TIME IS FOR YOUR DOCTOR.
